Four Elements Racing, Pontiac West, and the village of Sheenboro are proud to announce the 4th edition of the Amphibious Challenge. This event will include a 16 km and 40 km course, both taking athletes into the beautiful Ottawa river. This event is open to 2-person teams and is Canada’s original swimrun race. Weather permitting, the race will start at 9:30 AM.

Welcome to Sheenboro! Swimrun has been growing steadily in North America and the Amphibious Challenge, which started in Sheenboro is Canada’s most well known, and respected swimrun race.

SWIMRUN Team Entry Long Course – Price increase April 30 2019
Team entry for the 2019 Amphibious Challenge Long Course swimrun race on Sept. 07 2019 (This price includes both athletes). Please indicate coed, male, or female team. This is a 40 km course with 4 km of swimming legs.
SWIMRUN Team Entry Short Course – Price increase April 30 2019
Short course entry for Sept. 072019. The course is 15 km long, with ~ 2.5 km of swimming. This price covers both athletes. Please indicate coed, male, or female team.

Volunteer Registration
Registration includes:
- Athlete breakfast
- Athlete meeting prior to the start of the race
- Food and aid stations along the course
- Athlete lunch
- Participant swim cap
- Prizes for the top 3 finishers in each division.
- Finisher medallion

Event Timeline (subject to change)
Registration and racer breakfast will begin at 7:00 AM at the Hotel Pontiac.
Pre-race briefing will begin at 9 AM.
Weather permitting, the race will start at 9:30 AM and all teams must be off the course by 5:00 PM.

The residents of Sheenboro are well know for their hospitality amongst many other traits. They are pleased to offer a number of options for accommodations close to the race start at Hotel Pontiac.
Athletes can select accommodations on a first come, first served basis and can choose from cabins, to cottages, to full homes.
